Club Sandwich recipe

Packed with streaky bacon, tomato, eggs and chicken; our Club Sandwich recipe is an all-around favourite for lunchtime.

Ingredients

• 4 rashers of streaky bacon
• 3 slices of cooked DA white bread
• 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
• 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
• 1 salad tomato, sliced
• 1 thick slice of cooked chicken/turkey breast
• 1 small handful of salad leaves

Baking Instructions

1. Heat grill to High and cook the bacon, turning halfway through, until crisp.
2. Toast the bread and spread one slice with the mayo.
3. Layer on the egg, tomato and bacon, then top with another slice of bread.
4. Add the chicken or turkey, bacon, then lettuce.
5. Finish with the final slice of bread and cut in half to create two triangles
6. Secure with cocktail sticks!
