Our Brownie, Vanilla Sponge and White Bread mixes along with our gluten and dairy free Oats have all been awarded a star each – and we are over the moon! The Great Taste star is widely acknowledged as the most respected food accreditation for artisan and speciality food producers in the UK and gives each recognised product a ""stamp of excellence"", so to have achieved 4 of these prestigious awards is truly fantastic.

Of 10,000 entries this year, less than a third of those entered received an award. So as you can imagine, we are absolutely thrilled that 4 of our products received a Great Taste star! There are over 400 judges on the panel, including food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, producers and a host of food writers and journalists. A couple of famous faces even sampled our gluten free delights – Masterchef judge and restaurant critic Charles Campion; TV presenter and cook, Aggie Mackenzie; Great British Bake Off winner, Frances Quinn and Masterchef the Professionals finalist, Adam Handling.
Of our oats, the judges said: ""Immediately appealing, with a lovely consistency and colour. Good sized oats and a remarkably creamy mouthfeel considering this is dairy free. We were impressed by this product. A pleasant, clean mouthfeel with a creamy appearance and texture. Good creamy colour and light, oaty texture. Great for a gluten and dairy free product."" The judges had this to say of the brownie: ""Good looking traditional brownie with a good cracked crust. Nice and moist with good cocoa aroma. Rich chocolate flavour, good mouth feel."" And of our vanilla sponge: ""Springy and cuts well. We applaud this mix as making a light gluten free sponge is not an easy task. All in all an excellent product. A treat for those unable to tolerate gluten. Cuts well, the sponge looks springy; good colour; good vanilla taste (good quality vanilla); beautifully light sponge; exceptional product for gluten free."" And of the white bread: ""Nice even bake and a good crust. The bread has a good crumb and a pleasing slightly sour flavour. As a bake at home gluten free product judges were quite impressed with this alternative to white bread."" "
