"We are delighted to announce that this year we will be spreading gluten free magic to the world of sport by sponsoring the Sheffield Volleyball Club’s Division 1 Women's National League squad. With the new season already off to a nail biting start, the team will be donning their new Delicious Alchemy branded kit and are hoping it will mark the start of another successful season. Delicious Alchemy's MD, Tony McLoughlin, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting such a dedicated and talented local team. We’re extremely excited to see how they perform this season and cheer them on all the way. They are looking fighting fit so we have no doubt that they’ll do us and Sheffield proud!” Following the success of last season, where victories over the Dulwich Tuskers and the Reading Aces helped secure them promotion into Division 1, the team are hoping for another strong campaign and we’ll be on hand to cheer them along, and offer some post-match Gluten Free Cake of course! When we spoke with the team’s coach, Steve McKeown, he said: “We’re proud to be associated with Delicious Alchemy. The financial support provided to our women’s national league team offers a major boost to their first season in the second tier of volleyball in England. It will enable them to compete on a level playing field against teams from Manchester to Portsmouth.” We had better get some cheerleading outfits made up! We’re practicing our pyramid as we speak.
