"Well, we’ve had THE best time over the last six weeks enjoying all the brilliant entries you've sent in for our very first Gluten Free Magic Bake Off competition. We’ve had everything you could possibly imagine and it’s clear to us that there are some very, very talented gluten free bakers out there – thank you so much for getting involved!
Our final week has seen some real mouth-watering sweet and savoury gluten free treats including some cracking Yorkshire Puddings, sticky Oat Cookies and even a bright blue Dolphin Birthday Cake. Once again our judges have struggled to pick a winner which is why there are two winners this week!
Following last night’s pastry excitement on Great British Bake Off, we went for Marianne Evans’ Puff Pastry Nutella Pinwheels for a real demonstration of skill (gluten free pastry is a tricky thing!).
And hot on the heels of the Pinwheels is our second winner, Alexandra Bovey’s Raspberry and Lemon Drizzle Polenta Loaves which look totally irresistible.
