"If you’re anything like us, you’ll absolutely love the Great British Bake Off. We’ve been so excited for GBBO to return to our screens next Wednesday that we just couldn’t let the chance pass us by to run our gluten free version of the competition again.
We know there are plenty of gluten free baking enthusiasts out there, and we want to hear from you! So once again, we’ll be running an eight-week competition to find the ultimate Magic Baker to be crowned the Gluten Free Magic Bake Off Champion. We will be challenging all you kitchen wizards to don your aprons and cook up some gluten free magic. Entries can be sweet, savoury or a mix of both – we don’t mind, as long as it’s gluten free. For the first six weeks, we’ll upload all your entries onto our Facebook page, and will announce a weekly winner to receive a Delicious Alchemy hamper packed with gluten free goodies, including: brownie mix, vanilla sponge mix and bread mixes.
At the end of the first six weeks, the public will vote for the top three bakes from the previous 6 weeks by “liking” their favourite. The three dishes with the most “likes” will then go on to our final GFMBO Showstopper Challenge. When the three finalists have been selected, Delicious Alchemy will set a final challenge with the ultimate winner being awarded the title of “Gluten Free Magic Bake Off Champion” and winning an incredible prize of afternoon tea for two in either Leeds or Manchester with an overnight stay in a hotel, as well as a box of goodies to complete the prize. You’ll also be invited to recreate your recipe here at Delicious Alchemy HQ in Sheffield. Your dish will be photographed professionally so your recipe can be shared on our website for everyone to enjoy. Entering couldn’t be easier, and you can enter as many times as you like!
